Orthodontics (Braces)

Dental braces are appliances used to apply pressure on your teeth to align and straighten them. Many types of braces are available to meet different needs, from regular metal braces often used for children to lingual braces and clear aligners preferred by adults.

Regular metal braces

Consist of metal brackets attached to the front of your teeth and a metal wire attached to them, it’s the cheapest but the most noticeable.

Ceramic braces

They are similar to regular braces except that they are tooth colored.

Lingual braces

They consist of brackets like the one used for traditional braces except that they are placed on the back of your teeth so it’s completely hidden. In our facility we use Incognito™ a unique product from 3M one of the leading companies in dentistry featuring a customized brackets made of gold that fits perfectly to your individual teeth

Clear aligners

It’s another cosmetic option to straighten your teeth using a set of removable clear plastic aligners. Many brands are available and one of our favorite is Invisalign®, using a unique software a virtual dental plan that shows movements your teeth will go through over the course of the treatment is generated, then a set of nearly invisible aligners is delivered to you. You replace each aligner, your teeth will move – little by little, week by week – until they have straightened to the final position
