Laser Teeth

Whitening

Teeth whitening lightens teeth and helps removing stains and discoloration. It is a very popular cosmetic dental procedure because it is relatively easy, fast and it can greatly improve how your teeth look. The most common reasons for teeth to get yellow or stained are: Using tobacco, drinking dark-colored liquids such as coffee, cola, tea and red wine, not taking good care of your teeth

and aging

Contrary to the popular believes, whitening can not greatly change your teeth color to a very bright white color; it rather removes the stains trapped within the pores of the enamel layer of your teeth.

Whitening is not a one-time procedure. It will need to be repeated from time to time if you want to maintain the brighter color as stains accumulate again and get trapped in the enamel pores.

Laser Gum Depigmentation

Laser gum depigmentation, is the process of changing the color of dark "brown or black gum" into pink. The main reason for dark colored gum is genetics.  it is more common in certain ethnic groups like Africans or Middle Easterns. Other causes can include smoking, side effects to certain medications and a metal restoration or an amalgam filling placed in contact with the gum margin.

The laser can vaporize and  eliminate the superficial layer of your gum removing the melanin containing cells. After healing the tissues formed are pink in color.
